Ureter Kidney Stone

These tiny stones are hard masses that form in the urinary tract and begin to form in the kidney. Stones that do not pass on their own are removed with lithotripsy or an endoscopic technique. Urinary stones begin to form in the kidney but may enlarge in the ureter or the bladder. Here a kidney stone is shown as trapped inside the ureter.
