Blood Cells and Osteoblast

An osteoblast is a cell that synthesises bone. In bone formation, many osteoblasts form groups of connected cells and produce many cell products, including enzymes, growth factors and collagen. In the process of bone formation the osteoblast becomes an osteocyte.
