Loop Ileostomy Surgical Repair

Loop ileostomy is a surgical procedure where part of the small intestine is pulled out through an incision via the abdomen. A stoma is formed to allow the bowel time to heal. Once the bowel has healed the end of the bowel are stitched back together to reform an intact bowel.
